Yes! There are no pre-requisites to this meditation teacher training. That said, some of our students will have already completed a 200 hr YTT, while for others this will be their first course.
-
Some experience in meditation is required. A regular practice of a few months is minimum, so you’re already comfortable with sitting and holding your attention on something for a while.
-
There will be movement every day! Most days there will be an asana practice and other days we will invite new kinds of movement.
The reason why - is that In order to truly find comfort with seated meditation, we must first find flexibility and openness in our body and hips. Asana is the perfect way to do this and in fact - it’s the entire reason why asana was invented in the first place! To prepare us for meditation.
We offer a simple 90 minute guided asana practice most days before lunch. During lunchtime, you can do any other workout you like. We also provide breaks after our lectures for you to move around, dance and stretch.
